Las Vegas Weddings

Weddings are an important occasion in most parts of the world. However, when you get to Las Vegas things become a bit more exaggerated there. Las Vegas is known for it\'s many wedding chapels, huge limousines, casinos and famous people everywhere. Many people flock to Las Vegas to elope and get married at these chapels. Others take advantage of the backdrop of oppulance and plan their whole outdoor wedding or even lavish indoor wedding in Las Vegas.

There are simple and more complex ways to go about having a Las Vegas wedding. The simplest would be to visit one of the numerous wedding chapels and selecting one of their wedding packages. These chapels have offices on almost every Vegas street corner.

Here are some of the more lavish ideas that Las Vegas weddings have become known for. The bride arrives at the church or at the ceremony in a helicopter instead of a limousine; the church or wedding hall is decorated with very rare flowers coming from distant places around the world. Recently, wedding ceremonies also get streamed over the internet so friends and family back home could virtually attend the wedding ceremony.

You can also chose to have a themed wedding with costumed characters from \"The Beauty and the Beast\" right through to \"The Titanic\". Some brides choose an Oscar themed wedding which includes the hiring of a famous star to make a speech during the event. The most popular theme to go along with the Las Vegas theme is a theatrical package. It included dry ice smoke effects, sets, special lighting and a professional crew of actors making performances during the wedding party.

If you prefer an outdoor wedding ceremony, you can pick one of the outdoor wedding packages. This will give you the opportunity to take advatage of Las Vegas beautiful sunny days. These packages tend to be a bit less expensive.

You need to be sure to pick the right chapel for your wedding. The city has more than fifty of them. Small ones, big ones, enormous ones and sophisticated ones. The number of guests varies from small ceremonies, just for close friends and relatives, to over the top thousands of guests.

Las Vegas is known for it\'s fairy tale atmosphere for weddings, made of romance, love and glamour. This too can add to the cost of your wedding. The more features you add, the more expensive the event, so keep that in mond as Las Vegas has been known to host weddings that cost upwards of half a million dollars.

If you dream about having a Las Vegas wedding, being rich or not, let your imagination take over and make it an event to remember.
